Mark Simon (aka Camel) is one of those bloke who makes most men ill.
A body like a chiseled Greek God, and an amazing athlete as well having also crossed the Australian and Sahara Deserts as well as running with a 6’5 Massai warrior through Kenya past herds of wildlife.

- Marathon De Sables (MDS) 250 kms across the Sahara Desert in 2008: top 140
- Climbed Nth Africa’s highest peak 3 days prior
- 6ft track in Blue Mountains 45 kms Mountain Marathon 5 times
- Soft sand classic , Manly Australia -21 kms barefoot 7 times finisher,
- Soft Sand 42 kms Marathon 2008
- Forster Half Ironman: 1998
- Sydney Half Marathon 3 times
- St George Olympic distance triathlon in Manly
- Bondi 10 km classic (barefoot run): 98,99
- 100kms Oxfam Cross Country Ultramarathon. 2007
- Sri Chimnoy long distance triathlon (Canberra) in team of 3: placed 5th out of 200 teams: 1998
- Other adventures include being dropped off by helicopter and floatplane into New Zealand bush and walked out 7 days later.
